Message from the Captain!
What wonderful weather we've been having! March sure came in like a lamb here in the South, with sunny skies and temps creeping into the 70s. It has been perfect weather to be on the lake, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. More and more boaters are returning to Lake Lanier every day!

The warm weather has also brought out the boat buyers. We've had more folks in the store this month than I’ve seen in a while. Of course, the best news is that the lake is starting to fill back up. Maybe all that praying and positive thinking we’ve been doing is starting to pay off. As far as I’m concerned, we can keep this trend of rainy work weeks and sunny weekends going all spring.
On Sunday, I took one of our new Southport fishing boats out for a spin with my dear friend Larry. I just can’t tell you what a pleasure these boats are to drive. As with all our brands, Southports really are just top-of-the-line, and I am extremely proud to represent them. If you enjoy fishing, you really should stop by the store and check them out.
